Show an empty card box with a slit in it half way down the box. Insert a playing card through the slit to cut the box in half. Now take a signed coin and drop it into the top chamber of the box and close the flap. The coin then audibly penetrates the card and ends up in the bottom of the box.
It can be done impromptu
