Many magicians are seeking for an invisible deck with regular playing cards, and so did I.

I've performed several versions of an invisible deck without a gimmick, but Perdu was the most practical one for my performance.

I want to introduce Perdu for your invisible deck routine.

Here's my standard for a good invisible deck routine.

1. Spectators could name (almost) any card before opening a card box.
2. No flipping move before spectators see the back of the chosen card.
3. Simple but practical.
4. Reset within a second.

For this reason, this trick came out as a solution.
